Earlier this evening at the Bellevue hotel in Philadelphia, PA, over 500 attendees came together representing the pharma industry to recognize innovation in the space. There were 16 value-based categories that received over 600 global entries. A panel of 35 judges representing senior level executives from pharma, patient advocacy, and patients reviewed and selected the finalists and then ultimately the winner in each category.
Annexus Health originally submitted entries into two of the categories and was named a finalist in each: Most Valuable Service or Digital Therapy and Entrepreneur Health Care Solution. During the awards event, Annexus was recognized as the winner for the category: Most Valuable Service or Digital Therapy for the submission “AssistPoint®: Reducing the administration burden across the patient journey”.
The criteria for this award category was an initiative which goes beyond the pill, providing a holistic service or solution that provides significant benefits to patients. The initiative may be complimentary to a medicine or be entirely independent of a medicine, yet still be able to demonstrate clinical or other value. It should either have launched, or will be launched imminently, but should have some field exposure.
