Annexus Health has been awarded first place among midsize companies recognized with a 2023 Top Workplaces USA award.
Issued by the employee survey company Energage, the Top Workplaces USA awards celebrate companies that have cultivated exceptional people-centered cultures in the eyes of their employees. This year, 2,365 organizations in the Pittsburgh area were invited to survey their employees; award recipients were determined based entirely on results from a 24-question employee survey. Annexus Health ranked first among participating midsize companies in the region.
The company was also honored with a special award for Direction based on standout scores for belief among employees that Annexus Health is going in the right direction.
“Our constant focus on patients and improving one individual life at a time has really brought a lot of fulfillment,” said Dominick Baffone, Director of Provider Solutions Sales at Annexus Health. “I think that’s all that we can ask for in a workplace setting—that we’re truly being fulfilled and believe in the work that we’re doing.”
Abby King, also a Director of Provider Solutions Sales at Annexus Health, echoed that sentiment: “Combating financial toxicity for patients ultimately is helping them in a time where most of them are going through the toughest thing in their life, so we have a team of passionate people, but we also have a team of people that love to work hard and love to have fun.
